It’s been a while since I wrote here. I don’t know about you, but many things seem to fill each day and sitting down and writing this journal never seems to happen. I sort of go with the flow when it feels like the right time to write.

You may have noticed we have made a few changes to the website store. My design process has always been an organic one and I felt that the online store no longer worked. Instead we thought we would show you all the styles in the Ellie Lines dress family, putting them all in one place so it feels like you are browsing the showroom.

Quite often when people come to visit us they say “why have I not seen this one before ?”. It’s simply because when designing collections, some pieces, as fabulous as they are, they just might not make it into production. Making pieces to order, and offering our Reworn service, it allows these styles to come along to the party ! I hope you get inspired looking and I hope it translates the way I want it to. It no longer worked for the creative magic to be constrained to a digital store, and it’s nice to see how the collection has grown.

As we slow things right down to a much more unique and conscious way of designing and making, it felt this was the right next step. We hope you enjoy it and would love to hear your thoughts and feedback. The showroom is open by appointment and we warmly welcome you. It’s great when clients come and try on pieces and properly get to know the collection and it’s fun to share styling tips and inspiring finds. We do also offer virtual appointments as well. So pop in, dial in, simply tune in to find find your perfect piece.

I will try and write here more, about people and various things that inspire me. It’s good to slow it down and put it in to words.
